Exchange and Buyback Policy

DAIMANTÉ For Diamond Jewellery Last Updated: 06. February 2026.

DAIMANTÉ offers a Lifetime Exchange and Buyback Policy for its jewellery sold across India, subject to inspection and approval by our Quality Assurance Department. The product must be free from damage, excessive wear and tear, alteration, or unauthorised resizing.

The decision of DAIMANTÉ’s Quality Assurance team shall be final and binding for all Exchange and Buyback requests.

 

1. Documents Required for Exchange or Buyback

For any Exchange or Buyback request, customers must provide:

  • Original product
  • Original invoice or copy of invoice
  • Product certificate (if applicable)
  • Valid Government-issued photo ID of the customer requesting Exchange or Buyback
  • DAIMANTÉ warranty card

Requests without complete documentation may not be accepted.

 

2. Exchange and Buyback Shipping Process

  • The product must be shipped back, securely packed using bubble wrap or padded packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • Products must be shipped only through DAIMANTÉ-approved logistics partners.
  • Once received, the product will undergo quality inspection by DAIMANTÉ’s Quality Assurance team.

 

3. Exchange Policy

  • Under DAIMANTÉ’s Lifetime Exchange Policy:
  • Customers may exchange their DAIMANTÉ product for another DAIMANTÉ product ( of equal or higher value) up to two times in each product’s purchase life cycle.
  • No cash refund shall be provided under the Exchange Policy.
  • The exchanged product must be accompanied by the original certificate, invoice, and warranty card.
  • Exchange is applicable for products sold across India.
  • Exchange is not valid on products that are Signature-Made/Customised. Valid only on ‘in-stock’ products. 
  • All exchange requests are subject to quality inspection and approval.
  • Exchange value will be calculated as 100 percent of the original product value, subject to deductions mentioned below.
Additional terms:
  • A logistics and processing fee of Rs. 1500/- (or equivalent in local currency) shall be deducted while determining the exchange value.
  • A new exchanged product will be shipped within 21 business days after receipt and approval of the original product.
  • If the value of the new product exceeds the exchange value, the customer must pay the difference.
  • If the value of the new product is lower than the exchange value, the balance amount will be credited as DAIMANTÉ Credit, which can be used for future purchases with DAIMANTÉ. 
  • DAIMANTÉ Credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

4. Lifetime Buyback Policy

Under DAIMANTÉ’s Lifetime Buyback Policy, the buyback value will be calculated as follows:

  • 100 percent of the prevailing market price of gold or precious metal used in the jewellery.
  • 80 percent of the original invoice price of the laboratory grown diamonds used in the jewellery.

The following deductions shall apply:

  • Any discounts or promotional benefits availed at the time of original purchase will be deducted from the diamond value.
  • All taxes, making charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
  • A logistics and processing fee of Rs. 1500/- shall be deducted from the final buyback value.

Buyback is subject to:

  • Successful quality inspection by DAIMANTÉ
  • Submission of original product, invoice, certificate, and warranty card.

 

5. Payment Method and Timeline for Buyback

  • Buyback payments will be made only through bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS, or equivalent international transfer method).
  • Payment shall be made only to the person whose name appears on the original invoice and who provides valid Government-issued photo ID.
  • Buyback payments will be processed within 21 business days after receipt and approval of the product at DAIMANTÉ’s registered office.


6. Exclusions

Lifetime Exchange policy shall not apply to:

  • Jewellery that has been altered or resized by unauthorised parties.
  • Products showing signs of tampering, misuse, or damage beyond normal wear.

 

7. How to Request Exchange or Buyback

To request an Exchange or Buyback, customers must:

  • Email us at support@daimante.com requesting an Exchange or Buyback.
  • Our customer care team will provide shipping and documentation instructions.
  • Ship the product securely using DAIMANTÉ-approved logistics partners.

Requests sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

 

8. Policy Updates

DAIMANTÉ reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
